"Vector" organizes industrial fragments into a composition of rigorous geometry, where every element occupies a precise position within a continuous structural axis.
The transition from the circular links surrounding the neck to the articulated plates resting across the chest creates a precisely orchestrated spatial sequence. Repetition, proportion, and articulation transform independent components into a unified formal system.
Conceived as a limited-edition kinetic sculpture, Vector is constructed from reclaimed mechanisms taken from eighteen authentic American alarm clocks dating from the 1950s and two antique travel clocks, each carefully dismantled, selected, and assembled by hand.
Its articulated joints allow the rigid structure to adapt naturally to the body, preserving the visual continuity of the composition while providing remarkable ergonomics for a work of this scale.
Materials: Reclaimed vintage clock mechanisms, industrial jump rings, and leather strap.
Origin: Designed and handcrafted in our Miami Beach studio.
