An articulated chest armor designed around the logic of mathematical repetition. Constructed from fragments of antique timekeeping mechanisms, the piece unfolds in a sequence of openwork modules that translate engineering precision into a large-scale visual statement.
Architecture of the Piece: The upper section is set in rigorous geometric symmetry and joined by precision jump rings, granting the structure a fluid, ergonomic mobility across the body without altering its silhouette. From this concentrated surface, the composition progressively narrows, extending down the torso in an articulated column of segmented planes.
Suspension System: An adjustable metal zipper secures the artwork, allowing its height to be adjusted to the desired position.
Origin: Designed and handcrafted in our Bitácora studio in Miami Beach.
