A layered structure defined by the relationship between a fixed engraved surface and a descending articulated system.
The top plate, CNC engraved with a marine topography, establishes a stable plane. From this anchor point, a modular assembly of small clockwork mechanisms unfolds in a cascading formation.
Each unit retains trance or its original function while operating within a continuous, adaptable structure. Repetition generates density, rhythm, and scale, allowing the piece to behave as a flexible, volumetric surface.
More than an ornament, "Waterfall" functions as wearable architecture: a sculptural system in which structure becomes surface, and surface becomes flow.
Produced through an intensive process of exploration, disassembly, restoration, and assembly, each piece reflects both mechanical memory and manual precision.
